How long does a Syariah Court estate proceeding typically take?
Timelines vary depending on the complexity of the estate and the court's schedule. Straightforward cases may conclude within three to six months, while more involved matters could take longer. We keep you informed at each stage and work to move things along as efficiently as the court allows.
What documents do I need to bring for an initial consultation?
It helps to bring identification, any existing wills or trust documents, property ownership records, and a list of known beneficiaries. If you are unsure what applies, just reach out and we will guide you on what to prepare.
Is a Lasting Power of Attorney relevant if I already have a will?
